Talent Prep 2E for intellectually gifted students with a form of learning disability
Twice exceptional, abbreviated as 2E represents intellectually gifted students with a form of learning disability. This group of students is twice exceptional as a result of their strengths and limitations. Some of these children have superior vocabulary, advance ideas, extreme curiosity or a specified talent; however, these children may also have one or more learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, autism, emotional, behavior problems or others that often requires specialized services and an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Talent Prep 2E Tutoring offers the following for children with an IEP in place and that are already in a Gifted & Talented Program or are looking to prepare for the Gifted & Talented Exam. - Private one-to-one session to help student meet IEP and G&T curriculum goals. - Provide personalized developmentally appropriate modifications that are in alignment with the child’s IEP goals and the Common Core Learning Standards. - Added collaboration with specialized related services and professionals. - Provide at-home strategies and resources for Parents/Guardians to work on with their child. - Aid to advocate for services and accommodations for Gifted & Talented test taking.
